Very nice food was great, best buttermilk chicken burger I've had. Hot chocolates and cakes to die for.
First visit as highly recommended but sadly couldn't get near the place. Parking all over the place and queues to get seated at 3. 00pm. Victim of its own success I think. Will try again but disappointed today
Decent dairy free coeliac and vegan options. Nice walks and a great place to meet with friends and family
As a 20 strong group of cyclists we were very well looked after on Sunday when stopping by for coffee.Very impressive range of cakes on display.2 wood burners made for very cosy surroundings.Wed made contact beforehand due to party size & some tables had even been reserved for us.Highly recommended.
Once excellent but starting to lose it's edge a little. Location is exceptional and it's a lovely place to go. Menu is good and the specials are usually interesting. Nice that dogs are welcomed. Staff are lovely but increasingly less organised. Often they wander table to table trying to find who the food belongs to, despite everyone having to give their table number on ordering. We had one dish arrive but not the other so we had to go in and ask for it. Ordered cake which never arrived went to ask and got it handed over straight away. It would have been easier to just hand it over immediately on ordering as it's right by the till and would have saved a 20min wait for one item. Greenhouses are too hot to bear in the summer but appreciate this is an expensive one to resolve.Basically, this place is still a gem and better than a lot of places but they are becoming massively popular and need to have a rethink to make sure this uplift is handled successfully.
